the separation was very hard since she went to bogota and i was playing soccer on barranquilla,s junior minor leaque team because of that i asked for a transfer to a bogota team but it was hard to continue the relationship we were on different paths today its nice to know i can call her write her an email and she responds she,s changed but to become a better person

Her first love was Oscar Pardo, a neighbor. She was 13 and he was 15. In October 1990 they were introduced by Erika and Tatiana, who were their mutual friends. He courted her for 2 months and in December he longed for something new, and sealed it with a kiss. During their romance, the couple enjoyed the usual boyfriend/girlfriend things, going to parties, going out to eat, going to the beach, and he delighted in hearing her sing on her staircase. The relationship ended in 1992. Oscar assures that she was ever unfaithful to her, but curiously Shakira always says in her interviews that her first betrayal in love occurred by her first boyfriend. Tv y Novelas was able to establish that she referrs to Monica Gonzales, a young girl from heir block that followed Oscar and was the reason the couple broke up. Even so, Shakira and Oscar got back together, but the second time didn't work either, so they mutually decided to break up and they remain friends today

At fifteen, Óscar Pardo was two years older than she was. Ac cording to Colombian reporters, Óscar was completely in love with Shakira and had to woo her for two months before he finally got her to say yes. The moment of acceptance was sealed with a kiss, the singer's first. From that day on they were always together at parties and at the beach. They would go out dancing, to dinner, or to play volleyball. They lived with the lightness that only two teenagers in love have. She would play the guitar and he would lis ten....He says she confided in him her dream of becoming a pro fessional singer. Even though the relationship ended the following year, the singer still remembers Óscar affectionately. So affectionately, in fact, that whenever she goes back to Barranquilla, she stops by his house to visit.
